CESAR ALAS

Cesar’s passion for music has been an important part of his life.  Born in El Salvador, a highly musically-diverse country, Cesar grew up listening to radio stations that played an eclectic mix of both English & Spanish music.  As a result, he became exposed to the kind of music playlists that effectively blended popular American music (such as Rock, Country, Disco, Funk) with Cumbias, Merengues, Salsas, Rancheras & Boleros.  It wasn’t unusual to hear The Eagles followed by La Sonora Dinamita!

At the age of 15, Cesar moved to Los Angeles.  Now many years later he has amassed an impressive collection of music, both in English & Spanish.  Cesar is 100% fluent in Spanish & English (reading, writing & comprehending).  He has performed at hundreds of events from corporate functions to wedding receptions. Some of the highlights of his DJ career has been meeting & performing for celebrities such as hip-hop group Digital Underground, actor/comedian George Lopez, actor Brad Pitt, & actress Julia Roberts.
