Singer, songwriter, arranger, actor Tony Grant is on a mission and the entertainment industry has taken notice. As the former lead singer of the Grammy-nominated R&B/Pop group AZ YET (LA FACE RECORDS), it was Grant’s first-tenor voice that dazzled the music world on such hit songs as “Last Night,” “Hard To Say I’m Sorry” and “Arrow” following the departure of singer/songwriter Mark Nelson. Grant has shared the stage or recording booth with an array of talented artists over the last decade such as Dionne Warwick, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, Jodeci and gospel artist Shirley Caesar, just to name a few. Demonstrating vocal versatility, Grant was the featured artist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in a concert given for former President Bill Clinton. While singing has been something bred in him through his parents, he has proven over and over again that he is not a one-dimensional entertainer. In addition to his four octave-range singing voice, Grant likes to keep his chops up by performing in national touring plays. Not knowing that this venture would become a part of his list of success stories, Grant has dazzled audiences, playwrights and producers all over the world and has become a sought-after artist in the theater industry. |
