The SURF CITY ALLSTARS are the word's greatest Beach Boys Tribute band because every single member of the Allstars performed in the Beach Boys band. Original Beach Boys Brian Wilson and Mike Love taught the Allstars their vocal parts. The SURF CITY ALLSTARS performed 100s of shows backing up the Beach Boys over the years and bring that same show to each client as part of the Allstars Greatest Hits of the Beach Boys. Any client can also add Original Beach Boy Al Jardine and/or Original Beach Boy David Marks to any show for an additional fee.

"They sound like the real deal because they ARE the real deal! Dean Torrence and the Surf City Allstars are not like the typical tribute band or sound-alike group. Their genuine sound comes from members who actually sang and played on those hits by Jan & Dean and the Beach Boys. Great show!"
- L.A. Weekly Music Review

Al Jardine and David Marks both started as original Beach Boys in 1961. Al & David recorded and toured with the band up until the release of the Little Deuce Coupe album in 1965, even though David left the band in 1964.  David Marks rejoined the Beach Boys in the 90’s. You can see all 6 of the Original Beach Boys honored at their Historical Landmark in Hawthorne, CA . Both David and Al were part of the 50th Anniversary Beach Boys Reunion Tour of 2012. David and Al now tour with the Surf City Allstars, who are all former Beach Boys touring band members, with a fantastic Greatest Hits of the Beach Boys Show.
